KEMAMPUAN YANG DIUJIKAN:

●     Reading Skill (Kemampuan Membaca)

Menentukan gambaran umum/pikiran utama paragraf atau informasi tertentu/informasi rinci/informasi  tersirat atau rujukan kata atau makna kata/frasa atau tujuan komunikatif dalam teks fungsional pendek  berbentuk caution/notice/warning, greeting card, letter/e-mail, short message, advertisement, announcement, invitation, schedule.

●      Writing Skill (kemampuan menulis)

Mengungkapkan makna dalam teks tulis fungsional dan essay pendek sederhana berbentuk deskriptif, recount, narrative dan prosedur untuk beriteraksi dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari

MODEL SOAL UJIAN PRAKTEK

●      Choose one of the two alternatives below to make a paragraph!

Pilih satu dari dua alternatif model paragraf yang akan dikembangkan:

ALTERNATIF 1 PERSONAL LETTER IN FORM OF RECOUNT

Write a personal letter in form of recount, telling about your unforgettable moment in your life (you can choose one from the lists below if you don’t have any idea). The receiver of the letter is your friends or your family or your new friend. Write at least 150 words up to 350

                                                                                                                        

Buatlah sebuah naskah surat dalam bentuk recount (teks yang menceritakan tentang masa lalu misalnya memont yang tak terlupakan dalam hidup kamu. Kamu bisa memilih satu dari daftar judul yang diberikan jika tidak punya ide. Penerima surat itu adalah temen kamu, keluarga kamu atau untuk teman yang baru kamu kenal. Panjang tulisan minimal 150 kata hingga 350 kata!

Sebelum menulis paragraf, kamu akan diminta untuk menjawab pertanyaan yang bertujuan untuk mengarahkan pengembangan paragraf yang akan kamu buat:

CONTOH PERTANYAAN YANG AKAN DIBERIKAN UNTUK MEMANDU PENGEMBANGAN PARAGRAF:

1         Untuk Teks Dalam Bentuk Recount

a Who is the letter for? (untuk siapa surat itu)

Misalnya  dear my brother

b What is your goal in sending the letter? (apa tujuan menulis surat)

Misalnya to inform about my bed experience

c  Who or what was involved in the event? Siapa yang terlibat dalam moment yang akan diceritakan

d what it was? Apa kejadiannya

I ate a meat ball and i found an hair in my bowl

e  where and when it happened?

Dimana dan kapan kejadiannya

It happened in a restaurant yesterday

f  Tell us the event from beginning up to end-ceritakan dari awal hingga akhir urutan kejadiannya

Event 1 : I came to restaurant for lunch

Event 2 : I order a bowl of meat ball

Event 3  : when I have my a bowl of meat ball, I saw a hair in my bowl

Event 4  : I ask for another bowl and the writer ask me to wait for 30 minutes

Event 5  : After wait for 30 my meatball didn’t come yet, so I left the restaurant

g  What was your feeling? (bagaimana persaanmu)

I was dispointed and promise will not come to the restaurant again

Dear  Indah,

Hi, Indah.... how is everything? I hope anything is right and always in a good condition.  Hmm, do you still like  eating a bakso or meat ball? I hope so bacuse I do like it very much. I always eat Bakso three time in a week. But do you know what was happened when I ordered a meatball yesterday? I had bad experience when I ate meatball in a restaurant.

Actually it happened when I felt very hungry nad I needed something to eat, so I went to a restaurant for lunch. I ordered a bowl of meatball.  When I wanted to eat the meatball, I saw a hair in the bowl. I asked the waiter to change my meatball. The waiter asked me to wait for five minutes. But until 30 minutes, the waiter didn’t bring my new meatball.  I asked the waiter again, and he asked me to wait for a moment. I just couldn’t take it anymore. I went out from the restaurant and promised that I wouldn’t eat at the restaurant again.

ALTERNATIF 2 : PROCEDURE TEXT

Write a paragraph in form of procedure text. you can write any instruction in making something, how to operate something, how to cook something, or show a direction. You can use one of the following lists if you don’t have an idea!

Tulis sebuah paragraf dalam bentuk teks prosedur. Kamu dapat menulis instruksi apapun dalam membuat sesuatu, bagaimana mengoperasikan sesuatu, bagaimana memasak sesuatu, atau menunjukkan arah. kamu dapat menggunakan salah satu dari daftar berikut jika Anda tidak punya ide!

Contoh Pertanyaan Yang akan membantu Proses Pengembangan Paragraf

1         What is your goal or aim?

●      MAKE A FRIED BANANA

2         What materials you will need?

●      BANANA, CASSAVE FLOUR, COOKING OIL OR METEGA, SOME SUGAR, WATER AND ETC

3         What utensils will your need?

●      STOVE, FRYING PAN, SPATULA AND NAPKIN (SERBET)

4         Tell us the steps!

Step 1 : slice the banana into small slice

Step 2 : roll  the banana carefully

Step 3  :  fry them in very hot frying oil until they turn brown.

Step 4  : sprinkle some sugar on the top of banana

Step 5  :  a delicous fried banana is ready to enjoy.

Contoh text procedure yang dapat dibuat berdasarkan pertanyaan di atas

Making fried Banana is very easy. First you need some rotten bananas and some frying oil. You can slice the bananas into thin slices. Then, fry them in very hot frying oil until they turn brown. If you want it sweeter, you can sprinkle some sugar on top. Otherwise, roll the bananas cerefully  into flour before you fry them. A delicous fried banana is ready to enjoy. It also will have a great test if you eat it with a cup of warm tea or a cup of hot coffee.
